Hello Atom Blue Parents and Players,
Welcome to playoff hockey! The time of the season where every game is important and every player must play smart, intense, disciplined hockey every shift.
There is no time for breaks when you are on the ice and our Player of the Week knows this.
It is 110% effort , full-throttle, all-out drive every shift and our Player of the Week demonstrates this every game.
Our Player of the Week is the epitome of smart, intense, disciplined hockey. He has not received any penalties yet this year. He is “in the zone” before every game, and is always strategic in his positioning during his shifts on the ice.
He has mastered his position of right wing. He knows what to do when he has the puck, and where to be while he waits for a play from his team mates. We all have seen his amazing skill of knowing when to snipe a goal waiting for the perfect situation to present itself. So far this season his high-light reel goal was when he scored from his knees while he was being hauled down. When we practice shoot-outs, his teammates watch in awe. He constantly keeps us wondering as to what sick move he will pull-out of his bag of tricks. His teammates call him “Patty Kane jr” because of his amazing dekes and his ability to pick corners on the net.
Our Player of the Week has amazing acceleration, quick feet, can stop on a dime and sublime stickhandling skills.
