Novice Red came out flying today coming off our
tournament win. The kids were determined to give a great battle to a tough Mt.
Brydges’ White squad. We battled hard for the puck and were rewarded with a
quick start. Novice Red found ourselves up 3-0 midway through the game with two
nice goals coming from Caden Brown and a great rebound tucked away by our
constantly improving Bryce Carruthers.
Fantastic assists go to Noah Zebregts, Zack Deleary, and Owen Deyell…. But our opponents were not about to give up that easily answering with a late goal in the second and an early goal in the third period. Our goalie Eric McDonald made plenty of fantastic and timely saves to shut the door on any more offense. This effort awarded Eric with the heart and hustle award for the game….great job Eric!!
Great effort from all players today…keep up the good work! See everyone at practice on Thursday in Glencoe.
