We're fresh off another victory at home Friday night. We took the fight to the Lucan Irish and came out on top 3-1. It wasn't until the 2nd period (as per usual) that we got things going. Czencz steam rolled through the entire team and fired off a shot passed the Irish netminder. It sat just inches from the goal line when defender Mitch Rastin finished it off and pulled the Cougars into a 1-0 lead. Lucan scored only a couple minutes later to even the score. This was Callums first goal in nearly 3 games worth of playing time, wow!

Our offence played physical but played to our strengths and held the Irish off with speed. The third period we leaned on our defence and our backstop Callum as Lucan brought the fight to us. The wall stood tall as usual. But our defensive was equally as stout in fending off the attack. Brady Keck nailed the dagger with 2:22 remaining and the rest was history. With a 9-0-1 Cougars Gold stands atop the division owning 19 points thanks to eight straight wins. The sky is the limit.
