Making A Point
Good Morning,
After a clean sweep last week that saw us take another three wins we were off to the border to take on Point Edward. We knew exactly what we were up against with the historically good Blackhawk squad and we were ready.
We came out flying and laid some HUGE hits to get the momentum on our side. Czencz gave us the lead with a goal assisted by Brady Keck. We continued to hit hard and take it to them in the second.We earned a 2-0 lead with a goal by Jacob that was assisted by Mitch Wolfs. On to the third and it was now 2-1. The boys knew insurance would be preferred in this one so Czencz (from Liam and Keck) put us up 3-1. Hayden pushed that lead ahead again in the third putting us up 4-1. Callum and our strong D finished what they started and continued to hold the Blackhawks in check. We sit alone atop the division with a strong 28 points. We go from one tough opponent to another as we take on Lambeth to begin our next tournament. After the way we played tonight, bring em' on!
