Novice White, U9, 2014-2015 (Mt Brydges Minor Hockey)

Hello Novice White Parents and Players, In our final week of the season, we had to call upon one of our players from the Tyke Division to play in our final tournament of the year. He was up for the challenge, ready to play against kids 3 years older than he is! He has been our good luck charm since he played in our first tournament, and we rarely lost a game with him in our line-up.

Hello Novice White Parents and Players, What a week of hockey we have had! We were missing players for the playoffs and had to shuffle one of our kids to a different position to fill-in for our missing defenseman. This was a tough decision for the coaches to ask of him because he constantly contributes offensively. In St. Marys he scored a hat trick but, we needed his specific skill set in a different position. When asked if he would play "D" for his team his answer was simple, "sure!" was all he said.

Hello Novice White Parents and Players, This week we did not have any practices, just games. It was a week when we needed our players to turn-up the heat and take it to our opponents. We had a player who did just that! He caught fire and helped-out his defenseman with his back checking, helped-out his wingers dig the puck out of the corners and once again

Hello Novice White Parents and Players, All of our kids were working extremely hard this week. This was easy to see since everyone was sweaty after our practice and games! This week, we had a player who is always trying to be a better player every game. He has his pre-game ritual down pat, stretching his legs and arms, preparing for the barrage of pucks that are about to be thrown his way.

Hello Novice White Parents and Players, This week seen us with a few practices, our kids worked extremely hard and had loads of fun. We have a player who exemplifies what it means to "give it his all" at every game and practice. His crossovers and stickhandling have improved tremendously since the beginning of the year. He is at every practice and is working hard to continue to improve his game of hockey.
