Game 15
We were back in action at the arena last night facing the St Marys Rock 2 team in our first meeting with this team all season. We had a few missing from the lineup but fortunately we had 10 skaters making two even lines. Blaine and DJ were out due to illness and Colton and Carson were away for the holidays. At the time of this post the game sheet has not been posted on the website so hopefully my aging memory is still accurate, if not let me know and I'll make the corrections...
Once again the team pulled together to git'r done in fine fashion last night. There were a few times our feet weren't moving but overall a very solid effort by everyone. Lynden Luis was first to score late in the first period after a fine effort from his point on D with a nice rush.
St Marys tried hard to get back in it the whole game but with our solid defence and a bunch of great saves by Ben, he managed to keep the puck out of our net the whole game earning himself a well deserved shutout.
Colbey Relou scored early in the 3rd after a nice drive to the net scoring our 2nd goal of the game. I don't know who assisted on either goal so if you know please send me a message and I'll add them.
Our record of late has been very good. Lots of heart and hustle is paying off. Great job everyone, keep it going and come out with a huge effort today at 6:00 against our old foe, Point Edward.
