Midget C Girls, U18, 2012-2013 (Mt Brydges Minor Hockey)

This team just keeps improving. With 7 new players at the beginning of the year we knew it would take a while to jell. Of course there are also 5 Bantam aged girls playing Midget. Well we are on a roll and we are still getting better. The team is an impressive 8-1-3 in our last 12 games. Probably the nicest surprise is the hard working line of Baker, Powell and Jakimczuk who are quite often found scoring big goals for this squad. Our defence is improving led by Wuytenburg and Toth with Despard-Young between the pipes. Newcomers Myers and Hill are also working hard. The 2-way play of Dias was ...

 After a very slow start with only one win in their first 13 games, the Midget Girls C team are starting to really improve. In their last 8 games they are a respectable 2 wins, 3 losses and 3 ties. This is the result of hard work and improved team bonding. The good news is there is still lots of room for improvement.

The Midget C girls team travelled to Mitchell this past weekend for their first tournament of the year. The team had only played 4 league games in which they were outscored 29-2. Funny thing was they were getting better and also getting to know each other with 7 new players on the team. Well our first game
