Merry Christmas
With the holiday season upon us I want to wish the Atom Gold players and parents a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It has been such a great start to the season and I am looking forward to the new year and what this team of amazing players can accomplish during the rest of our season.
After 20 games we are 19-0-1. This team is having such a wonderful season so far and the players should be very proud of what they have accomplished so far. The games that were played this past Wednesday and today showed what a strong team we are. The North Middlesex team is a strong team and on Wednesday to come back from a 2-0 deficit and win 4-2 and then today playing to a 2-0 win was a great way to head into the holidays.
I would also like to thank the parents and other family members for their support. Looking up at the stands today and seeing all of the people cheering on our Atom Gold team made me realize how much support there is for the team. I truly appreciate all of the support and I hope it continues for the rest of our season.
We still have a lot of hockey ahead of us and I am looking forward to what lies ahead. We are first off to Aylmer on the 27th of December and then we finally get away for the tournament in Detroit. And once we are back from that we will be heading into the playoffs shortly after that. We have a lot of challenging hockey coming up but I am convinced that this team will face every challenge and will be successful.
Again I can't say it enough about how proud I am to be the coach of this team and to have 14 great players giving it 100% every time they are on the ice.
