U9 MD Tier-1 Tournament Champions- The U9 Cougars travelled south to Niagara for the weekend and brought home some hardware.

Please see the Team Home Page for the final MD A/B and MD C/D rosters. If your name is not listed, please refer to the U9 Blue Team page for further LL sorting skates. Thank you to all the players for their efforts over the past week during the evaluation skates.

The final U9 MD skate will be on September 25 6:30-8:00 PM. Please check the Team Home Page for roster details. The final MD rosters for both teams will be posted following Wednesdays skate. First team shared practice will be Thursday 5:30-6:45 PM.

Thanks to all the players who took part in the MD conditioning skates and first round of evaluation skates. The next evaluation skates will be September 23 6:00-7:00 PM and 7:00-8:00 PM. Please check the Team Home Page for the rosters moving forward. If your name is not listed please follow Team Blue.

U9 MD Evaluation Intrasquad games This weekend, September 21-22 will be the first set of evaluation skates for U9MD. Please see the Team Home Page for the schedule and rosters. U9 MD Tier-1 Tournament Champions

The U9 Cougars travelled south to Niagara for the weekend and brought home some hardware.

The boys represented Mount Brydges with pride and professionalism both on and off the ice throughout the weekend. The team went 3-0-1 in the round robin finishing tied for 1st in the division.

They went on to beat the Guelph Gryphons 5-0 in the semifinals which earned them a rematch against the other 1st place team, the Hespeler Shamrocks in the finals. The boys defeated a very strong Hespeler team 3-2 to capture the Championship!

The boys battled through some adversity throughout the weekend however, their work ethic and determination could not be stopped. The team posted a 5-0-1 record, scoring 29 goals for and only allowing 11 against.

Congrats boys, well deserved !
