Major Novice Rep 1, U9, 2019-2020 (Mt Brydges Minor Hockey)

We will be having a parent meeting before this Sunday's practise (Sept 22nd).  Please ensure at least one parent for each child is able to attend.  Please be there 30 minutes before the practice so we can start promptly. We will going over team goals for the season, potential tournaments, volunteer roles needed for the team, and reviewing the team budget.

We would like to thank everyone for coming out and working hard at the tryouts.  We could see all the kids improve over the 4 skates and it made it very difficult to make these decisions.  Regardless of where you end of playing this year, continue to work hard, and have fun!! For those selected to the Novice Select and Rep teams please keep a close eye on the calendar.  While there are currently practices scheduled we have been informed that they may change in the upcoming days. Great work last night at the intra-squad games!!  The coaches have been very impressed by everyone's effort and their continuing improvement throughout the evaluation process.  For Saturday's final evaluation skate we will be playing two full-ice 40-min games.  Check below to find out what game you will be playing in, and come prepared to work hard!  We are asking that all goalies attend the full skate as we will be rotating them through both games.  Players in each game will be assigned a team when they arrive to the arena on Saturday.

Thanks for everyone's hard work during our first two tryout skates!! For Wednesday's tryout we will be running half-ice intrasquad games between the 4 groups we have been running the first two sessions with.  We will run three 3 24-minute games with every team playing each team once. Keep up the great work!
