Novice Gold, U9, 2015-2016 (Mt Brydges Minor Hockey)

The Big Gold Machine rolled into Elmiria with one thing on their minds.  Playing hard and having fun.  The coaching staff tried something they said could not be done.  They split up the triplets in an effort to produce more scoring.  This paid off in the first two games, as the Cougars beat two of the host teams back to back! 

Novice Gold started quickly today with a goal by Cobyn Dias (one of his 3 on the day!) but fell behind after two great goals by the Lancers.  Kyle Lunnie scored with 33 seconds left in the period to draw the Cougars even.   Novice Gold came out firing on all cylinders in the next two periods!  Getting goals from Adam Bentley, Ben Lunnie and Luke Anderson with 3 of his own.  With the strong defensive zone coverage and Zoey stoping almost everything thrown at her it was a great showing by Novice Gold today! The following players will make up the Novice Gold team this season!  Please check the calendar for the next ice time.  It promises to be a fun and successful season!!

Please find below the Tentative Roster for the Novice Gold Team.   Please bring your skater to the next Novice Gold ice time on Thursday, September 24 - 6:00PM in Komoka.  At this time, the teams will play a game in order to ensure that the teams are as even as possible.  After the game, check the team website for Final Roster notification.
