October 10th vs. Lambeth Lancers
Novice Gold started quickly today with a goal by Cobyn Dias (one of his 3 on the day!) but fell behind after two great goals by the Lancers. Kyle Lunnie scored with 33 seconds left in the period to draw the Cougars even. Novice Gold came out firing on all cylinders in the next two periods! Getting goals from Adam Bentley, Ben Lunnie and Luke Anderson with 3 of his own. With the strong defensive zone coverage and Zoey stoping almost everything thrown at her it was a great showing by Novice Gold today!
The whole team played great, the players were doing what the coaches had shown them at practice the night before.
