MIDGET GIRLS ON A ROLL
After a very slow start with only one win in their first 13 games, the Midget Girls C team are starting to really improve. In their last 8 games they are a respectable 2 wins, 3 losses and 3 ties. This is the result of hard work and improved team bonding. The good news is there is still lots of room for improvement.
We particapated in the Kitchener Fallfest this past weekend with a 2-1-1 record and lost the tie breaker to move on to the semi-finals. The team continues to be lead by high scoring Gina Toth and the goal tending of Becky Despard-Young. New players Sara Hill, Kristen Jakimczuk and Sydney Baker seem to be our hardest working players and our most improved player is certainly Morgan Powell.
Congratulations to our new Captain Sarah Wuytenburg and her assistants Jess Dias, Rachel Frizzell and Gina Toth. We are looking forward to constant improvement from all players as we enter the second half of the season.
