Walkerton Tournament PeeWee Champions!!!

The PeeWee Gold team brought home the Gold Medal today winning the Walkerton 1 Day Pee Wee Tournament !! VIctories of 2-1 over Twin Centers this morning, followed by a 3-2 win over Ilderton and finally a 6-0 Shutout of Kincardine this evening sealed the deal !!! Congratulations to all the players and families for an amazing Full Day!! Our team played with passion, desire and the type of discipline and work ethic typically displayed by True Champions!! On behalf of all the coaches and families...we are incredibly proud of you Cougars!!

Congratulations to all the players for an exciting start to the 2012 - 2013 Hockey Season !!!   Game #1 was a very competetive match up against PeeWee Blue. A game much closer than the 5 - 2 Victory would lead you to believe !! We didnt pull away until later in the game...and it was a very balanced scoring attack. From a coaching perspective our teams commitment to defense was very evident in Game 1....from not just the the effort and intelligent play of our Defenseman....but also to the hustle and selfless team play of our Forwards in playing a strong 2-Way game!! This will be our mantra ...
