September Ice Schedule Posted
Submitted By Karen Decker on Thursday, August 20, 2015
The Ice Schedule for September for Tryouts, Sorting Skates, All Skates and practices is now posted.

Please remember to check back periodically up to and throughout the tryout/sorting process as this schedule is subject to change.

With Labour Day being late this year and our league play starting the weekend of September 25th, we only have about 17 days to get our teams up and running which is less than we would prefer.  As such, our Ice Schedule is somewhat compressed this year.  We were able to pick up some extra ice at the arenas to help accommodate.  League schedules for games will be added as they become available in September.

Our regular ice contracts will start in October.  We are projecting over 30 teams this season so managing ice will be more difficult than ever.  We were able to secure a few extra hours of ice to help accommodate the extra teams.  Those extra hours include some hours in Strathroy, Glencoe and starting a few days a week at 4:15pm.  We will try to spread these around among all of our teams, but it was the only extra ice available to us so we will need to make it work.  Remember, when the season starts if you have any concerns about ice, please go through your coach.
