My name is Jesse Messeroll and I will proudly be returning to coach the 25-26 U18A Mount Brydges Cougars.
The U18A program is the pinnacle of minor hockey in the Mount Brydges association and I take pride in that. Development is a primary focus in MBMH as we strive to produce players that will go on to continue their hockey careers past U18. This year’s program will have a focus on 09s as we look to build a team that will be successful this year, as well as building a core team for the next year.
In order to be successful I need a team that will be Smart, Structured and Relentless. To achieve this I need players that will be dedicated to their teammates, motivated to battle with their brothers and hungry for success. Nothing worth doing is ever easy, but with a full squad working towards the same goal, it's a lot more fun.
Tryouts
Tryouts will be held in September of 2025
Date and Time TBA in August
Season Structure:
- ~ 25 League games
Now including interlock games vs Alliance teams
- 1-2 Practices a week
- 1 Home game per week
Normally our home games are Saturday night prior to the PJHL Mount Brydges Bulldogs home games
- Off-ice video / tactic sessions prior to practice on occasion
- 3 Scheduled tournaments
An early bird in September/October, one in November and then Regional Silverstick in December
