Hello U11 Hockey Families,
We’re excited to welcome everyone back for the upcoming season! As we prepare to hit the ice, here’s a quick overview of what to expect in the coming weeks, following Hockey Canada’s guidelines for player development.
Conditioning Skates:
The season will kick off with four one-hour conditioning skates to help players ease back onto the ice and sharpen their skills. These will take place over the weekends of September 6–7 and September 13–14.
Sorting Skates (Player Evaluations):
Player evaluations will begin the week of September 15.
During this time, players can expect:
One midweek skate, and
Two skates on the weekend of September 20–21
Team Selection & Season Start:
Teams will be shared with families during the week of September 22. A more detailed timeline will be provided as we get closer. We’re looking forward to officially starting the fall season on September 29.
