Caledonia Cup Champions
Congratulations Cougars on a hard fought Caledonia Cup Tournament Championship!
After only 1 regular season game together the team quickly jelled and successfully navigated a tough tournament field to go undefeated. In the round robin a victory over New Hamburg and ties with Orillia and Halton Hills set us up with a semi final game vs. the home team Caledonia Thunder. The boys were able to hold onto a 4-0 lead to eventually win 4-3.
The finals were a rematch against the Orillia Terriers. This time the kids came to play walking to a 6-2 victory.
I was really impressed with your effort, willingness to learn and strong team play. All traits that will set the team up for future success.
