Tournament Champions.....again
This past weekend PeeWee Blue participated in the Ernie Clayton Tournament in Welland. The boys played 5 games and won them all defeating the hometown team in the finals.
We were lead by our dynamic goal tending dual of Eric MacDonald and Cameron Wanlin. Cameron had a shutout in the semis and Eric had a shutout in the finals! Well done boys! Our goal scorers were lead by Denny Doxtater and Spencer Andrew with multiple goals. Brayden Martin and Dillion Lynch hustled and back checked the entire weekend. Caleb MacGowan scored our only goal in the semis pushing us to the finals. DJ Elijah, Nathan Woo, Bryce Carrathurs also played hard, scored goals and got assists. All Zack Deleary did was play forward, defence and center...the ultimate team player! Our defensive wall of Hunter Buchan, Keenan Mayer, Carson Corderio and Brady Dawson kept our opponents at bay! The whole team played well and did what good teams do to bring the championships trophy back to Mt. Brydges! Go Blue!
