Hello hockey families,
My name is Scott Greason and I will be coaching the Atom Girls team this coming season. I was an assistant coach for our first ever Atom Girls team last season. Our team showed steady improvement all season and was able to capture a spot in the Provincial Championship Tournament in Toronto! I'm very excited to continue to build the Mt. Brydges Girls program this season.
Why you should consider Mt. Brydges for your young hockey player:
- We emphasize skill development in a fun and supportive environment. Last year, we successfully teamed up with, former London Knight, Robbie Drummond and the experts at Total Package Hockey to help our girls become confident hockey players. We intend to do this again for the coming season. We also have members from our Midget B Provincial Championship Team assist at practices and act as excellent role models for the younger girls.
- We have excellent facilities. Using both the Mt. Brydges and Komoka arenas allows us to have ample ice-time for practices and games. Both pads of ice at Komoka are NHL dimensions (200' x 85') which allows us to have lots of space.
- We are a short drive from London and Strathroy. We are a short, leisurely drive from both of these hockey rich communities which makes us a great alternative for residents of both areas.
We will make the decision to designate our Atom team as either 'B' or 'C' after we have assessed the skill level at tryouts.
