2020/2021 Hockey Season Update
We are all anxiously awaiting the start of the 2020/2021 Hockey Season and thus wanted to provide our players and families with an update.

We are awaiting an exact date as to when the ice will be put in the Tri Township (Mount Brydges) arena.  As of right now we know that the ice at the Komoka arena will be ready for an October 1st start.

Our program this year will be following a model that has been laid out by the Ontario Hockey Federation and is as follows;

1. Players will start with conditioning skates for all groups for approximately two weeks
2. They will continue on to development skates for approximately 2 weeks after that
3. Lastly, they will be put into tiers by skill and division in accordance with the OHF.

After the tiering process is complete the players will continue with development skates working towards game situations.  The timeline may be shortened for the U18 (midget) group in order to get them into game situations with other centres earlier.

We are working to balance the number of registrants with the amount of ice available as well as manage our finances and stay within the guidelines that have been set out by the OHF/OMHA.

We are working diligently to get the players out on the ice as quickly and as safely as possible.  Once a solid start date is known that includes ice availability at both arenas we will get this information out to everyone as quickly as possible.
