INITIATION PROGRAM UPDATE!!!
Submitted By Marc Decosse on Saturday, September 16, 2017
                                                    FINALLY!!!

The ice time will be posted soon  but will be from 7:15am-9:15am one day and 8:15am-10-15am the other at the KOMOKA COMMUNITY CENTER.

This will be the ice times for the year.

The ice will be divided into 1 hour blocks and the kids will be split, for now, based on their last names in order to keep even numbers on the ice.

Keep checking the website in order to see when you are scheduled.

PLEASE SHOW UP TO THE ICE TIME YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR.

PARENT INFORMATION MEETING

There will be a parent info meeting in the stands of your child's first ice time.  I will be there with information handouts and will answer your questions if possible.  Once your child is on the ice please make your way to the stands and I will start the meeting. I am Pete Clubb and I am the IP Convenor.  Please contact me if you have any program questions.  Your coaches can answer your team questions once the teams are made..

Some points to remember....

The first few ice time will be sorting and evaluating players.  THIS IS NOT A LEARN TO SKATE
  PROGRAM.
If your son or daughter cannot skate you may be requested to try the Mite program.  There is no age restrictions for the Mite program and it may be more beneficial to your child's development regardless of age. You will receive a registration credit if you decide Mite is better for your child.

There is no movement up out of the IP program.  All age 5/6 players must stay at this level or go to Mite if it is better for them.

This is a FUN DEVELOPMENT program.  There is NO competitive or select teams.

Teams will be blended by player's level in order that all teams will try to be equal.
