What a run to the finals!  Facing the Port Stanley Jr Sailors in the semi's and moving on to face the Ilderton Jets in the Championship series, our Midget Gold was unstoppable and gave the spectators great hockey.

The boys playoff run began with the semi finals against the Port Stanley Jr. Sailors.  In a first to four points series, the first two games ended in a tie.  In the third and final game, and after three periods of regulation time, another tie game was the result.  The overtime period looked like it was going to end in another tie and force a random coin toss to determine the series winner.  With six seconds remaining in the overtime period, a blistering snapper from the point found the back of net and sent Midget Gold to the finals.

In a first to six points Championship series against the formidable Ilderton Jets,  our Midget Gold boys were now unstoppable.  After three grueling and nail biting hard fought games, against a team that wouldn't quit, it was a clean sweep, with the final game on home ice.

Congratulations to our graduating players

And special thank you to our AP goalie, Owen Elijah, a great addition to the team.
