Novice Rep Wins Caledonia Cup
Submitted By Marc Decosse on Sunday, October 16, 2016
What a team effort by the Novice Rep team....

After the regulation round was completed by posting a 7-1 against Waterloo, losing to Simcoe 1-0 and beating the home town Caledonia Thunder 5-0, the team was placed in second for the playoff round.  The team came out strong with a great effort in the semis against Port Colborne and never let down.  The result was an 8-2 win and they were off to finals.

They were hungry for revenge against Simcoe who beat them earlier in the tournament.
After scoring 2 goals in the first 1:30, the Cougars never looked back.  From great goaltending, amazing defence and aggressive forechecking the cougars won the championship by a score of 5-1.

The coaching staff wants to thank all the parents for their time and effort with making sure this was a fun experience for the kids.  We as coaches are so impressed with all the effort and drive that the kids had during the whole tournament and couldn't be any prouder.

Way to go Cougars....
