Bantam A Collingwood Champs!
Congrats to Bantam Rep, Winners of the Collingwood Huronia Tournament
The Bantam Rep boys were up in Collingwood on Oct 18th-20th and went 4-1 vs all BB opponents in winning the Huronia tournament title.
Round-robin play saw the Cougars lose the first game 6-1 to a pumped up Collingwood Home squad. The boys knew they had to battle back and run the table and won the next 3 against, Saugeen Shores 4-1, Thorold 4-0 and Erin Hillsburgh 4-2 to move onto the final.
The final saw a rematch
with the Home Town Collingwood Hawks and that 6-1 opening loss looming in our heads. The boys overcame several adversities and had another defensively-sound game with Benny leading the way in net and final of 5-2 and the Huronia Championship !! Congrats Ben B, Austin, Gavin, Matt, Tyler, Ben H, Taylor, Evan, Nathan, Josh, Joey, Dan, Shane, Jacob & Channin.
