Bantam A Wins Third Tournament Title!
Bantam A Wins Third Tournament Title
The Bantam A Cougars competed in the Clinton BCH Optimist Bantam Tournament this weekend sweeping through for their third consecutive title in a span of five weeks.
On the heels of tournament titles in the Collingwood Huronia (5-0) and Mooretown
(4-0) tournies, the Cougars kept their undefeated streak going with three straight wins in Clinton and the Optimist Championship.
Things started off on Saturday morning with a 2-0 victory over the Tavistock Titans.
That afternoon, the Cougars pulled off a 2-1 decision over the host BCH Icedogs as the boys were still struggling to put together more than a half-a-game of solid hockey. This got the boys into the Championship final on Sunday vs the Twin Center Stars.
Sunday's final saw the Cougars play their "A" game for the first time in a while as they eventually pulled away from Twin Center, 5-1. Great job fellows! Twelve tourney games played this fall and only seven goals against!
