BANTAM C GIRLS WIN PROVINCIAL BRONZE!
Submitted By DMarshall on Sunday, April 22, 2012
BANTAM C GIRLS WIN PROVINCIAL BRONZE Congratulations to the Bantam C Girls on bringing home Provincial Bronze.  The girls opened with a 1-0 victory over Toronto Leaside followed by a close 2-1 loss to Owen Sound.  In a must win game the girls posted a 4-1 victory over Russell Castor to clinch first place in their pool.

The Bantams lost a tight 1-0 game to Woolwich in the semi final, setting up a rematch against Russell Castor for the Bronze.  It was a hard fought battle but the girls prevailed with a 1-0 win on a goal by Rebecca Werden in double overtime and 4 1/2 shutout periods by Julianna Johnson.  Way to go girls!
Thanks to Rob McGrath for recording the winning goal and put together this for viewing.
