MB Cougars Tryout Information
Looking ahead to tryout season, we would like to remind our members of important dates (some of which are standardized and regulated by OMHA and OHF.).
Tryout dates, registration dates and fees will be made available as soon as possible. Please make sure you are checking the website often.
Checking Clinic –
Date and cost will follow.
Mandatory for all players trying out for Rep (U14-U21 - if not previously completed)
Players in the U13 division who may AP for U14 are welcome to register but priority will be given to players trying out for U14 this year.
Eligible participants must be registered with Mount Brydges Cougars during the 2025-2026 season.
U8/U9
Prep Skates - As per OHF 4 skill sessions must be provided for each age group.
Players are NOT required to attend and does not impact eligibility for player evaluations/tryouts.
Tryouts - April 18 - 20
U10 – U13
Prep Skates - As per OHF 4 skill sessions are optional for these age groups.
Players are not required to attend and does not impact eligibility for player evaluations/tryouts.
Tryouts -
As per OHF ‘AA’ tryouts will be April 25 - May 1.
As per OHF ‘B’ tryouts will be May 9 - 15.
As per OHF all players may attend player evaluations (with multiple associations) during the 7 day tryout period.
U14- U16
