The Mount Brydges District Athletic Association (MBDAA) is pleased to share an exciting and significant update regarding the future of competitive hockey within our organization. This development represents an important step forward for the Mount Brydges Cougars program.
This update remains pending OHF approval.The Mount Brydges Cougars Minor Hockey Association is excited to announce that beginning next season (2026-2027), we will be moving to AA-level hockey.
This step reflects the continued growth of our association and our commitment to providing strong development opportunities for players who are ready to compete at a higher level right here in Mount Brydges.
Just as importantly, we want to assure our families that B-level teams will continue to be offered. Maintaining B-level hockey allows players to develop at the pace that’s right for them, ensuring every athlete has a clear pathway to grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game without needing to leave our community.
By offering both AA and B-level programs, the Cougars will continue to support:
