Clarification of Season Structure
As we prepare for an exciting and competitive season, we want to keep all players, families, and supporters informed about how our season will be structured — and most importantly, remind everyone that changes are constantly happening, so please stay connected with us through our website to ensure you have the most accurate and up-to-date information at all times.

This season, our league play will involve a great mix of familiar rivalries and new challengers. We will again be competing within the Shamrock League, including games against Strathroy, Elgin Thames, St. Mary’s, and we’re thrilled to welcome Ausable Valley to the Shamrock League family.

In addition, we’ll be engaging in interlock games with teams from the Southern Counties: New Hamburg, Brant, South Oxford, Norfolk, and Delhi-Norwich

Starting in early December, our schedule will further expand to include interlock games with seeded A/AA teams from the Alliance League, setting the stage for our playoff run.  The OMHA and Alliance are finalizing details at the end of the month but we are excited with the opportunity to compete in either the A/AA Bristol or A/AA Constellation.  This partnership with Alliance is a positive step forward for hockey in our area.

We’re excited to announce a new playoff structure this year: we will return to Shamrock League play, where teams will battle for the opportunity to advance to the year-end OMHA Tournament. In past seasons, only one team from a combined Shamrock/Southern Counties group advanced. This year, both the Shamrock and Southern County Leagues will send a representative, which is a fantastic improvement for all teams involved.

Beyond league play, our A teams will be looking to enter into AA tournaments across all age levels and scheduling exhibition games against AA-caliber teams. With the strong programs we've built and the benefits of open borders, we believe our teams are ready to compete at a high level and continue to represent our association with pride.

Lastly, we want to clarify that our U15 and U18 B teams will NOT be interlocking with the Alliance to allow them to continue to play contact hockey throughout the whole season. However, our U11 and U13 B teams will interlock with the Alliance all season.

Thank you for your continued support - we're looking forward to an exciting, competitive season ahead.  If you have registered yet, there's still time!  Tryout registration is OPEN, so don't miss your change to be a part of a fast-growing, high-level program committed to development and success at every level.  Join us this weekend and compete where you belong.
