Many of our teams ended their season this weekend and did so going out on top!
U9 Shamrock Tournament was held this weekend and four of the Mount Brydges Teams ended up in the finals.
Congratulations to the following teams.
U9 MD 1 - Champions
U9 MD 2 - Finalists (lost in a shootout)
U9 White - Champions
U9 Blue - Finalists
We had two teams represent Mount Brydges Cougars at
OMHA's this weekend.
U15 B headed to Kingston to play some tough competition in pool play and ended up not making it out of pool play. They did an incredible job all season long and although it was not the finish they were hoping for they had a fantastic season.
U14A beat all the odds this weekend.
From the start of game one this team knew that if they wanted to achieve their goals they were going to have to grind, and grind they did.
They overcame multiple season-ending injuries of teammates, challenging calls from officials on top of the usual body aches and tiredness that plagues all hockey players at this point in the season.
Their dedication to the shared goal, determination to come out on top and grit to get the job down secured themselves a red hat and the championship title.
We are so proud of what all of our teams were able to accomplish this year and look forward to setting bigger goals and watching our Cougars crush them.
