Player of the Week
Hello Novice White Parents and Players,
All of our kids were working extremely hard this week. This was easy to see since everyone was sweaty after our practice and games!
This week, we had a player who is always trying to be a better player every game. He has his pre-game ritual down pat, stretching his legs and arms, preparing for the barrage of pucks that are about to be thrown his way.
When he steps on the ice, he is cool as a cucumber. He never flinches when the opposing players are shooting as hard as they can at him. He regularly makes big saves with his glove, blocker, legs and occasionally his head!
He is one of the top novice goalies with 10 shut-outs this so far. His regular season goals against average was 2.10 and his playoff goals against average is 1.70. These numbers are pretty excellent considering that this is his FIRST year playing net.
This weeks Player of the Week Hard Hat, Certificate and Cougar Cup goes to:

Great work keeping us in the games and the puck out of the net!
