Holiday Tournament and League Games
Seasons Greetings Team Red!
The Holiday Season is upon us and I hope the coaches and players are as geared up and excited as I am. We are coming off an excellent week handing a strong team "Gold" their first loss of the year and falling to Strathroy Red in a very close contest that same day.
In talking with the other coaches and a few parents, it can be agreed that our troops are bringing the effort and excitement to the rink every game. EVERYONE is contributing and we will continue to keep it understood that we win and loose as a TEAM!
Looking ahead we have 2 practices this week as well as a skate with the Irwin's (Jack #19) on Christmas eve in Mt.Brydges @ 3:00. After Santa makes his appearance we face off at our first game of the John Henry Memorial on Friday the 27th in Strathroy @ 11:00 against Bothwell. Coach Ross has invited us for lunch and some ball hockey after the game. Saturday the 28th we're in Komoka for a 10:15 league game, then back to the tournament @ 4:00. I've re-scheduled the away league game in Lucan as our third game of the tournament is @ 1:00 on the 29th.
