Team Update
Just wanted to say that the kids are learning how to be a team. Not only on the ice but in the dressing room and away from the rink. It is truly awesome to see them develop!
We have a busy week this week with two games this weekend as our start. We also have 2 early practices this week. I hope to work on several things at these practices but I also understand that they are quite early, right after school for all kids. Some kids may not even be off the buses yet at 4:15 PM on Monday or 4:30 PM on Thursday. That said I want you to know that if you can't make it I understand! If you know 100% you can't make it let me know as soon as possible. If you can but it will be tight I get it. I appreciate all the efforts that goes into supporting the team. Please don't rush to get to the rink, you get there when you get there. The key is that you and your child arrive safely.
Next weekend we are in our first tournament. The players and coaches are all looking forward to playing in this event. It is going to be fun! The chance to bond as a team is what I am most looking forward to.
I wanted to also add a huge Thank You to the coaches and manager this week. Your help in my absence is a testament to the strength of the whole team.
