Playoff Finals Game 4
The hockey season has come to an end for the Great White Atoms after our 3rd loss to the strong Lucan squad tonight. Congratulations to Lucan on a hard fought series and their well deserved Championship this season......
It has been a lot of fun doing the write-ups after each game and providing the families with my perspective on how things went in each game. I hope everyone enjoyed the season and look forward to another hockey season starting in September.
Instead of reciting my traditional rant and play by play for this game, I thought I would take a bit of time to thank Coach Mark, Coach Joe, Coach Tim and Coach Dave for all their hard work and efforts behind the bench and at the practices. I know it is a big commitment of time and effort to organize practices and do everything it takes in order for the kids to enjoy a successful season. Your efforts certainly paid off and I know I can speak for all parents when I say thank-you, a job well done!
To the kids....you all should be proud of your efforts this season. Each and everyone of you has improved and made huge strides forward both in your skills development on the ice and the other important life lessons hockey and other team sports provide. It has been a true pleasure watching everyone and we wish all of you all the best and success in your future endeavours.
The team will be wrapping up the season at the year end celebration planned this Saturday. Parents please keep an eye on your email, I will be sending out some additional information about the Saturday festivities shortly.
