Game 1: South Huron
Hi team, looking forward to our first game of the season on Saturday, 5:40pm in Exeter.
Spencer will start in net and play the first half of the game. Kyle will play the second half and bring us home.
Remember the rules of the dressing room:
1) No cell phones
2) Respect for team mates and coaches (no swearing, it is not necessary to communicate)
3) Listen to the coaches when they are speaking, they will also listen to you and welcome your input and suggestions.
Our team will play clean, skilled, disciplined hockey with a focus on the team, staying out of the penalty box. We want to focus on Saturday on being a strong skating, accurate passing team carrying and moving the puck with our heads up, as we have discussed in practice.
Jersey numbers are now listed on our roster. Thanks to Mrs. Meers (Kyle's Mother) who has agreed to be our team jersey manager this season.
A reminder as well to all parents to make sure your son has a mouthguard.
See you Saturday, target arrival time not later than 5pm if possible.
