This is an exciting time of year, even though I recognize it will undoubtedly be stressful for you as a player. My goal is to make this a fair and enjoyable process, and I certainly wish that everyone shows their very best for these Pee-wee tryouts.
Because of the number of players, I will be dividing you into four teams (A, B, C and D)for both Monday and Wednesday tryouts. You will each be assigned your team and number when you arrive to register tomorrow. Teams A and B will be on the ice for the first half (7:30 to 8:10 pm), followed by Teams C and D for the second half (8:10 to 8:50 pm). Each half will include a 3-minute warm-up and then a 35-minute intersquad game. The goalies will participate in both games. To keep the process as fair as possible in selecting the best players to represent our Pee-wee Rep team, I have selected a team of knowledgeable evaluators who have no association with the Mount Brydges Minor Hockey Association or any of the players trying out.
