Hello all and welcome to the Atom AE tryouts. I had the opportunity to watch each of you skate at least a couple times over the last couple weeks and I'm really excited about the talent level in this age group. It will no doubt make my decisions tough and the tryout process difficult.
For our first tryout tomorrow (1:00 in Mount Brydges) we will split the kids into two teams and use the 50 minute skate for an intra-squad game. When you arrive to the rink, you'll see that you've been placed on either the Red or Blue team. Each of you will be given a pinnie.
The following 3 traits is what I'll be looking for everyone to demonstrate in an effort to make the team:
Team Work--supporting others, good sportsmanship, passing etc...
Positional Play
Hard Work--wanting the puck more than the player you're lined up against
Please come prepared to work hard, do your best and most importantly have some FUN!
