Collingwood Silverstick Champions
After going 3-0 in the round robin, The novice ae team was up against a determined Ilderton team in the semis that was looking for their first win against us.
They tied the game late in the first which gave our team a bit of a reality check. Once the second period started we never looked back putting in 5 goals from then on and sealing our victory. In the finals, Lambeth was looking for revenge and scored six minutes into first to lead. We tied it up half way through the second and although having 3 breakaways, we couldn't buy a goal. Our goalie stood on his head for us and two minutes into Overtime we were celebrating our victory after hard work and determination.
Couldn't be prouder of the team and how they represented Mount Brydges as well as the parents and the support they provided. Looking forward to the Regional Silverstick in St Claire Shores in January.
