Playoff Round 1, Game 5
A picture paints a thousand words about our game in Aylmer today. We did not play one of our better games....No need to read more unless you want to shake off the loss and prepare to dig deep and come back hard in game 6!!!!!!!
We won't try to make a bunch of excuses for the 5-1 loss today. We didn't have a great game and Aylmer played very well and deserved the win. We can't afford to come out flat against a strong team like Aylmer...everyone has to be on their game and ready to play. Both teams will meet again in the coming week, our ice scheduler is working on the date/time as we speak.
Congratulations to our Heart & Hustle award winner, Maddy Graham. You play hard every shift Maddy...keep it up!
I have just a couple requests, first I would like to see all players dressed and ready to play at least 15 minutes before game time in the next game. Please make sure you are rested and ready for an hour of intense hockey. I believe the next game will be Friday night at 7:00pm but this is not confirmed as of yet. The association is telling me that additional time will be provided for OT in this game if necessary in order to finish the series. Please watch our calendar for confirmation!
