It was a really good effort today but unfortunately we could not get the tying goal. We played hard for three periods and had a lot more shots on goal than in our previous two games. Our centres ,Robert Doxtader and Tyler Clinton, gave us great work up the middle with Robert scoring a beauty of a goal and Tyler getting plenty of scoring opportunities. Our wingers, Josh, Cameron Ellison, Tyler Keck, Reese, Will Graham and Jack fought hard in the corners and helped set up some great goal scoring opportunities. This group also did a better job of being at the hash marks for the breakout in our zone. Our defensemen, Will Anderson, Trenton, Leo and Bryce did great job of clearing the puck in our zone and helping keep the play in their zone. Cameron Jones had his usual solid game in goal. Big Alex was missed today and hopefully he will be fired up and ready to go for our next game.
Special congratulations to Leo for receiving player of the game. Leo has worked very hard at improving his game and it showed today. Great job Leo!
