Player of the Week
Hello Novice Gold Parents and Players,
This week we watched our kids play some awesome playoff hockey. The lines are set with the occasional change necessary because of holidays and sickness.
We asked one of our players to play a position
he has rarely played in his career. We watched him play a few games as a forward earlier in the season to see how he would play and during practices we had him participate in the offensive drills. This week, we moved him up to wing and he really stepped up his game, showing us his best hockey of the season!
He was an offensive threat every time he stepped on the ice, hustled every shift, back-checked and got an assist during the final game of our playoff round!
