Tyke Blue vs South Huron
Great game this morning team. Everyone has improved so much and the coaching staff is very proud of you. Great win to end off the regular season. Another shutout which makes 11 for the season.
I am looking forward to next Saturdays game against Belmont, it should be a good one. After the game we will be heading over to the Mt Brydges Community Centre for the year end hockey banquet. On Sunday we will be playing a parents vs kids game. Moms and dads are welcomed and encouraged to hit the ice. Dont worry coach Chris will have the first aid kit handy lol.
I just wanted to say how fortunate I feel to be given the opportunity to coach such a talented group of young kids. I honestly had a blast. The level of improvement was amazing but to be honest I wasn't surprised. I knew coming into this season that we had a special team. We pretty much dominated every team we played, had great success in winning 2 out of the 3 tournaments we entered. All of you kids should be proud of your accomplishments this season. You are all ready for novice next season. I hope that next season I will be fortunate enough to be able to coach some of you kids once again. Yes I do plan on coaching Novice next season.
I would like to thank my bench staff first off. Coach Jamie and Coach Chris were amazing to coach with and I thank you for your hard work and dedication. I am hoping we can carry this through into Novice, we will see. Thanks Ken Moore for stepping up and helping out on the ice. I want to thank Rob Hern for being an awesome parent rep and donating us the practice shirts. Janice Sutherland thanks for all your hard work being our Team manager this season. Melody thanks for cleaning the smelly shirts and keeping our kids fresh.
Finally I want to thank the kids for being so AWESOME and listening to me and the rest of the coaching staff, well most of the time anyway lol. WAY TO GO. Last but not least I want to thank the parents for being so supportive and committed.

As I mentioned today we will be having an end of the year party for players and families. It will be held at the PlatInum Key Realty office in Mt Brydges. I will be sending out a more detailed email in the next few days or so.
