Bantam A onto Omha Semis March 1st
The Bantam A Cougars have swept past Lambeth, Wallaceburg and Kincardine on their way to an Omha semifinal showdown with the Tavistock Titans. The Cougars have managed through several major injuries recently and have dug deep to win the last ten games and look forward to having most of their lineup back ready to go by the end of the week.
Tavistock meets up with the Cougars after they disposed of Ayr, Ingersoll and Simcoe during playdowns and will face Mt Brydges for the second time this season. The teams had a 2-0 tight affair in the Clinton tourney back in November that Mt Brydges pulled out at that time.
The winner of this best-of-five semifinal will face the winner of Parry Sound and Penetang.
Mt Brydges and Tavistock begin the series on Friday night at 800pm at Tri-Township Arena. Go Cougars!
