ATOM BLUE WINS SILVER IN SHOOTOUT!!
It's too bad there can't be two winners in a hockey game. The Mt. Brydges Atom Blue and North Middlesex teams sure put on a great show last weekend during the John Henry Tournament in Strathroy. The team had a great tournament winning the two preliminary games to make it to the gold medal game. Each team member played their heart out trying to score on a very strong North Middlesex team. At the end of regulation it was a 2-2 tie. After many chances by both teams, it was still tied after the overtime period. Back and forth in the shootout and it wasn't until the 9th round that North Middlesex scored. Who needs the NHL when you can watch ATOM BLUE!!! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SILVER MEDALS!!
