Back to the grind!
Happy New Year Atom AE families! The boys started off the New Year with a 5 - 4 win against the London Bandits team in an exhibition game this past week. The game was back and forth for all 3 periods and eventually the cougars came out on top with the victory.
They then travelled to St. Mary's on Saturday to take on the Rock in a league game. Unfortunately the cougars would come up flat and end the game with a 4 - 1 loss.
The following day they travelled to Dorchester to take on the tough Dragons team. They came out and battled hard to see the first two periods end scoreless. In the 3rd with a scuffle in front of our net, Dorchester would finally sneak one past net minder Jaryd Davidson. Well that didn't sit well with the cougars and they battled back to finally tie the game up when Brett Holt was able to put one past the Dorchester team! The game would end in a tie which we are used to with Dorchester!
Get a good nights sleep boys! Back to school tomorrow and lots of work to do before playoffs!
