Well, that was a great weekend of hockey.
I thought all the boys played very hard and in the final, we controlled the play for the majority of the game. I told the boys I always respect the ref's calls but that high stick call in OT 4 on 4 in a final tournament game sucked !!! I also think they should have blown the play dead when Ben had it covered. Sometimes you have those games where you dominate the game, outshoot, outskate and outplay the other team but not on the scoreboard. Hats off to Barrie who played a good game and that was a great little goalie. I hope the boys enjoyed the weekend away and had a chance to bond off the ice. I think it was a very succesful weekend and we still came home with a silver medal, a trophy and some good memories and of course, some great hockey!!
